PABLO CASTRO
Trombone Teacher
Pablo Castro is a native of California, beginning his musical journey when he was only 9 years old, after being introduced to the trombone in elementary school. Pablo always had a love for music, but it was not until high school that he really began to fall in love with playing trombone and all that came with it. From there his career and ability only blossomed, allowing him to be a part of honor groups where he played with and learned from other talented musicians.
Pablo earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Trombone Performance from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University Long Beach where he had the pleasure of studying under Steve Trapani and Mike Hoffman. He then went on to earn a Master’s Degree from USC where he studied with Terry Cravens and played with the renowned Thornton Symphony. He is now a freelance musician and teacher throughout Southern California.
