Arthur Keeling:

Owner/Trumpet Teacher

Arthur Keeling is a trumpeter that has over a decade and a half of experience of performing with the trumpet and almost a decades worth of teaching experience. He studied under brilliant musicians such as Courtney Jones, Caster Teoh, Rob Frear, Rob Schaer, and Ryan Darke.

in 2018, Arthur auditioned for Young Arts performing the “Arutunian Trumpet Concerto” and became a winner of the national artist competition. Through this program he performed the piece “Trio For Brass” by Anthony Plog at UCLA’s Schoenberg hall to an audience of over 500 with fellow musicians Eric On, playing the French Horn, and Cole Davis on Trombone. Arthur has also appeared in multiple premieres of newer compositions including “Rising” by David Nicovich at the Daniel Recital Hall; as well as “Bellum Aeris”, “Underneath the Heavens”, and “Ode to Tarkiainen” by Gabriel Irby premiered inside the Kopleff Recital Hall.

Arthur has played principal for Tonario Orchestra from 2023-2024 playing Studio Ghibli Orchestrations as well as other popular pop culture pieces such as Zelda, Pokémon, and Honkai Star Rail. He has played with OperaItaliaLA as well as the LLS Orchestra while residing in Los Angeles. Since his move to Georgia, Arthur has played with Georgia Brass Band and has played with a number of corporate bands performing in Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.

Arthur graduated from Bob Cole Conservatory of Music in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance. He is currently based in California where he teaches Trumpet, and Theory from a beginner to advanced level where he has helped students find and get into their desired college as well as enter All-State/Honors Bands. Arthur remains dedicated to pursuing diverse professional opportunities, inspiring and captivating audiences with his artistry.

Miguel MENDEZ

Flute, Saxophone, Clarinet Teacher

Miguel Mendez is a dedicated music educator with a degree in Music Education from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music. He has extensive experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. Currently an elementary band director, Miguel specializes in woodwind instruction, with a primary focus on saxophone, clarinet, and flute/piccolo. During his academic studies, he concentrated heavily on piccolo performance and pedagogy, developing a strong foundation in both technique and teaching methods for the instrument.

Miguel has taught in elementary, middle, and high school settings, and has also coached collegiate ensembles, including the Long Beach City College Wind Ensemble. As a performer, they have appeared in venues across the United States, ranging from Disneyland to Carnegie Hall. Miguel is  passionate about fostering musical growth, confidence, and a lifelong love of music in young learners.

PABLO CASTRO

Trombone Teacher

Pablo Castro is a native of California, beginning his musical journey when he was only 9 years old, after being introduced to the trombone in elementary school. Pablo always had a love for music, but it was not until high school that he really began to fall in love with playing trombone and all that came with it. From there his career and ability only blossomed, allowing him to be a part of honor groups where he played with and learned from other talented musicians.

Pablo earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Trombone Performance from the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University Long Beach where he had the pleasure of studying under Steve Trapani and Mike Hoffman. He then went on to earn a Master’s Degree from USC where he studied with Terry Cravens and played with the renowned Thornton Symphony. He is now a freelance musician and teacher throughout Southern California.
